Festus stepped into the role of IT Manager in January 2012. In this role, his focus has been to support the business throughout Nigeria to identify IT needs for the business and implement the IT foundational capabilities needed to support aggressive business growth. Prior to joining Cummins West Africa Ltd, Festus has worked in similar roles within the Leventis Groups as IT Manger for Leventis Snacks and Leventis Foods all in Lagos. He has also worked with Great Brands Nigeria Limited Lagos and as a Regional IT/Navision Support administrator for South-West Nigeria between the year 2005 to 2009 before joining the Leventis Group. Festus started his IT career in the core computer area in Lagos which is known as Computer Village in Lagos, Nigeria in the year 2003. Festus enjoys sports (football and basketball),travelling, music and reading in his free time.

Strong background in manufacturing in Precision machining, Tier 1 automotive manufacturing / supply as well as 7 year Cummins experience in Operations Management (genset assembly, testing, sheet metal fabrication) and Global Strategy & Analytics. He has been fortunate enough to work in European, Far East and African markets in multiple operations and supply chain projects where I have developed a understanding of different customer, markets, business requirements and cultures.


Valentine O. Thompson

HSE Leader

Over 10 years hands-on experience in the HSE role from the oil & gas, aviation and manufacturing industries; specialising in the development of HSE systems, auditing, risk assessments and training. He has a BSc in Architecture from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, and a MSc in Environment, Health & Safety from the University of Sunderland, UK. I started here in Cummins in July 2012.
